It may sound simple, but photography started because of my own family.



Some of my most treasured possessions are the photographs of the people I love. The images that let me revisit moments and seasons of life that can never be recreated. They remind me how quickly time passes and how important it is to hold onto the things we never want to forget.

When I became a mom, I found myself doing something probably a lot of parents can relate to. After my kids went to bed, I'd lie in bed scrolling through photos and videos of them on my phone. Not because anything big had happened that day, but because I already missed the little moments. Sometimes I'd find myself looking at photos that were only a few weeks old, thinking about how much they had already changed. The way they smiled, their little mannerisms..  all of which seemed permanent in the moment but somehow disappeared before I even noticed. It hit me just how fast it was all going.

That's what eventually led me to photography. I wasn't looking for perfect photos. I wanted a way to hold onto the moments that felt ordinary at the time but would one day mean everything. And after years of thinking about it, I finally decided I wanted to give that same gift to other people.

Whether I'm documenting a wedding day, a growing family, a new baby, or a season that feels worth holding onto, my goal is always the same. I want your photographs to bring you back. Not just to how it looked, but to how it felt.

Based in Camas, Washington, and serving Portland, Vancouver, and the Columbia River Gorge, I specialize in wedding photography and lifestyle photography with a true-to-color, documentary approach focused on genuine connection, authentic emotion, and the moments that matter most.
